Odisha Plus Two Exams 2025 Begin; CHSE Enforces Four-Tier Security for Fair Conduct

Odisha Plus Two examinations for the year 2025, organized by the Odisha Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), started today across the state.

On the opening day, students from the Science stream appeared for their MIL (Modern Indian Language) paper. Examinations for Arts and Commerce stream students are set to begin from tomorrow. The exams will run until March 27, covering all streams.

This year, a total of 3,93,618 students are taking part in the examinations at 1,276 examination centers spread across Odisha. The number of students from each stream is as follows:

  • Arts: 2,47,391 students
  • Science: 1,14,980 students
  • Commerce: 25,526 students
  • Vocational Education: 5,721 students

To ensure the exams are conducted smoothly and fairly, CHSE has introduced stringent security measures. A four-layered security arrangement is in place to prevent any incidents of malpractice or question paper leaks.

The security system includes district-level squads monitoring overall conduct, zonal-level teams, observers, and internal squads within individual colleges, all carrying out surprise inspections at examination centers.

Moreover, 205 Examination Management Hubs have been established across the state to securely store question papers and prevent unauthorized access.

The CHSE has urged students and examination centers to strictly adhere to the guidelines to ensure a smooth examination process.

Parents and guardians have been advised to support their children during this crucial period by ensuring they get proper rest and a stress-free environment at home. Students are encouraged to stay calm, manage their time effectively, and avoid any involvement in unfair practices, which could lead to severe consequences.

In case of any grievances or issues during the examination, students and parents can contact the CHSE helpline for immediate assistance. The council has assured that every possible measure is being taken to ensure a transparent and fair examination process for all candidates.
