Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is all set to launch the Odisha Antyodaya Gruha Yojana 2025, a major housing scheme aimed at providing homes to underprivileged families. The launch event will take place in Kalahandi district on March 30, 2025.

Who Will Benefit from This Scheme?

The scheme is designed to help 50,000 people from vulnerable sections of society, including:

  • Persons with disabilities
  • Widows
  • People suffering from severe illnesses
  • Families of martyrs
  • Padma Shri awardees

Beneficiary Survey and Registration

To ensure the scheme reaches those who need it most, the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development Department is conducting a household survey. This survey will continue until March 31, 2025.

  • So far, 19 lakh people have registered for the survey.
  • More registrations are expected before the deadline.
