Vijaypal Singh Tomar, the BJP’s Odisha in-charge, stated on Tuesday that the central leadership will make the final call, and an official announcement will follow in due course. However, the selection process is likely to be completed by March 15, after consultations with Sanjay Jaiswal, who is overseeing the election proceedings in the state.

Tomar also revealed that the appointment process for various boards and corporations in Odisha has already begun, as the party continues to expand its organizational structure in the state.

The BJP has already announced 36 organizational district presidents in Odisha. However, the decision regarding the president of the Sambalpur district is still pending. The party is expected to finalize this appointment soon.
