CM Launches Web Portal for Odisha Vision 2036 & 2047, Invites Public Input

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi launched a new web portal today to gather public input for the state’s Vision Document, a key initiative aimed at shaping Odisha’s development strategy for the future. The portal, available at https://vision.odisha.gov.in, allows citizens to actively contribute their ideas and suggestions for Odisha’s roadmap to a prosperous future.

The launch marks the beginning of an ambitious plan to align Odisha’s growth with national aspirations for Viksit Bharat 2047. The Chief Minister emphasized that this vision document will lay the foundation for a Viksit Odisha by 2036, aligning with both Odisha’s 100th anniversary as a state and India’s centenary of independence in 2047.

In his address, Majhi invited all Odias, both in-state and across the globe, to take part in this vision-building process. “Together, we will create a dynamic and prosperous future for Odisha. This document is not just a government plan; it’s an aspirational manifesto that will be shaped by all of us,” he said.

The Chief Minister highlighted that the document will focus on key areas such as economic growth, inclusive development, and sustainable initiatives. He pointed out that Odisha’s significant milestones in 2036 and 2047 provide an excellent opportunity to chart a new course for the state’s future, adding, “We need your insights and ideas on how to accelerate progress in these critical sectors.”

Majhi also noted the involvement of Deputy Chief Ministers and other state ministers, who will actively engage with citizens to refine and shape the document. The government intends to involve intellectuals, educators, industrialists, policymakers, and NRIs in this collaborative effort.

The CM also reaffirmed Odisha’s strategic role in the Viksit Bharat mission led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, calling the state a key player in the national growth engine. He expressed his gratitude for the trust placed in his administration, assuring citizens that their voices will be heard, and their concerns addressed.

Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida and Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja also spoke about the vision’s broader goals and the government’s commitment to fostering an inclusive growth model for Odisha’s future.

Through this web portal, the Odisha government hopes to foster a sense of ownership and active participation among citizens, ensuring that the Vision Document reflects the collective aspirations of the people of Odisha.
