Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida emphasized how the Odisha Travel Bazaar will showcase the state’s vibrant cultural heritage, beautiful beaches, eco-tourism spots, and adventure travel opportunities. Balwant Singh, the Commissioner-cum-Secretary of the Department of Tourism, shared insights into the state’s tourism policies and strategic vision aimed at boosting tourism growth.
A Global Gathering
Now in its sixth edition, the Odisha Travel Bazaar 2025 will bring together travel professionals from around the world. The event will see national and international travel agents, tour operators, and destination management companies converge at venues like the Mayfair Convention and Swosti Premium in Bhubaneswar, providing a platform to explore and promote Odisha’s diverse tourist attractions.
Showcasing Odisha’s Hidden Gems
The main goal of the event is to shine a light on Odisha’s hidden gems and authentic experiences, attracting both domestic and international travelers. The state government is actively working to transform Odisha into a world-class tourism hub by showcasing its unique natural and cultural offerings.
International Participation and Networking
Around 100 domestic tour operators from over 30 cities across India and more than 30 foreign tour operators from 17 countries—including Australia, the UK, Germany, Belgium, South Africa, Spain, and Singapore—are expected to attend. The agenda includes over 3,000 pre-scheduled B2B meetings between 70 local sellers and various tour operators, along with B2G meetings and adventure workshops.
Experiential Opportunities
Participants will also have the opportunity to experience familiarization trips to key destinations such as Bhitarkanika, Raghurajpur, Puri-Konark, and the scenic Diamond Triangle, offering a firsthand look at what Odisha has to offer.
