Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to visit Odisha for three days, starting March 21. During his trip, he will launch several significant projects and address a public gathering.
In preparation for his visit, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) held a crucial meeting on Sunday at Burla in Sambalpur district to finalize arrangements. Party leaders from Western Odisha, including BJP state president Manmohan Samal, Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling, and Sambalpur MLA Jayanarayan Mishra, attended the meeting.
Arrival in Jharsuguda on March 21
According to BJP sources, Shah will arrive in Jharsuguda on the evening of March 21 and will stay overnight at the MCL Guest House in Burla.
Temple Visit and Public Meeting on March 22
On March 22, Shah will begin his schedule by offering prayers at Maa Samaleswari Temple in Sambalpur. Later in the day, he will address a public meeting at the PHD Ground in Jharsuguda, where he is expected to interact with the public and highlight key government initiatives.
Foundation Stone Laying for Key Projects
Apart from political engagements, the Home Minister will lay the foundation stone for several important development projects in Jharsuguda. Afterward, he will have lunch at the MCL Guest House around 2 PM before traveling to Puri via Bhubaneswar, where he will stay overnight.
Shree Jagannath Temple Visit and Forensic University Project on March 23
On the morning of March 23, Amit Shah will visit the Shree Jagannath Temple in Puri for darshan. Later in the day, he will proceed to Jatni, where he is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for a proposed forensic university.
